Stephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She was then in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was seen in Narcos (2015) as along with S.W.A.T.(2017) The first and second seasons , respectively. Sigman was the daughter of her Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) and Lee Sigman, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. She is a citizen of the United States by virtue of her father. Her father, the professional baseball athlete Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She began her career on Mexican television before she made her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she portrayed the lead role in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. The film was selected for consideration as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. However, it was not on the shortlist. 9 Sigman was awarded a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in recognition of her performance as film critic in 2011.
