Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actor. She has also directed films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. At the age of a girl Paula Patton grew up in a Los Angeles middle-class household. She was raised by a mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities and was particularly fond of drama. She was a huge fan of acting with her classmates and took part in the school's stage productions. She was a part of numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as her career. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to make documentaries for a period of three months. She started as an assistant to production for TV documentaries, after completing her task. Then she began producing documentaries. She loved her work but was determined to become an actor. In the romantic comedy Hitch she played a tiny part alongside Will Smith. Since then she has appeared in a variety of film and TV series.
