Cartwright was married in the year 1975 to Steve Gullion. They have two kids between them. Angela Cartwright's younger sister Angela Cartwright, who was born in England is a famous actress. In her early years Angela was a character on Linda Williams the sweet little step-daughter in The Danny Thomas Show in 1953. She was on the show between 1957 and 1964. Veronica Cartwright played Cathy Brenner in the iconic Alfred Hitchcock 1963 horror film The Birds. She was only 13 at the time of her casting. Bonanza was among the first westerns on television to be broadcast in colour. The story was based on the Cartwrights who were a fictional family of ranchers that lived in close proximity to Virginia City Nevada a real mining town in the mid 1800s. He played Cartwright as the most junior Cartwright child whose mom Marie had a background of French Creole. She had been widowed when her son passed away from fever during episode Marie My Love.
