Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1996, in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. She is the daughter of an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish and English origin. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' previous marriages. They were originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and hoped she could return to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
